Process

EI Transformer Main Materials (IQC process)

All the material is inspected strictly with ISO9001:2015 quality program.

Core: appearance inspection and core loss test.

Copper wire: pinhole test and coat of adhesion test

 

 EI  Transformer Process

  • EI lamination has 0.35mm and 0.5mm thickness, material has Z11/H12/H14/H18/H50 of option.
  • The insulation for coil has 0.075/0.125mm thickness polyster film. 0.18/0.25mm DMD insulation paper and T410 Nomex paper. The brand of polyster film is DUPONT. The layers of overlap is deponds on the safety agent requirements.
  • Primary and Secondary winding wire is polyesterimid enameled, have 130/155/180/200degree for option.
  • Primary lead wire from type UL1617 double insulation for 600V voltage and 105 degree or UL3321 XLPE for 600V and 150degree.
  • Secondary lead wire from type UL1015 for 600V voltage and 105 degree.
  • Outer insulation is overlap 1 layer 0.075/0.125mm thickness polyester film or 0.18/0.25mm DMD insulation paper or T410 Nomex paper.

 

EI  Transformer Testing Items

  • Exciting current & core loss: 100% test
  • DC Resistance: 100% test
  • Layer insulation: 100% test
  • Loading test: 100% test
  • Hi-pot test: 100% test, but the time is only approx 10seconds for the production-run.
  • Aging test: Spot check, 10% of product quantity
